Lithography in an edition of Mrs. Cottin Works

Dear friends and colleagues,

I am currently trying to describe a copy of Mrs. Cottin "Oeuvres" (5 volumes
large 8vo printed in 1817). This illustrated edition should contain only 5
plates according to a mention on the title page, but the present copy
contains much more illustrations, including a lithograph by Horace Vernet
representing an "oriental" scene.

I would be very interested if someone could tell me if this edition was
published with / without this plate.

Please note that this is the 8vo edition, by far rarer than the 12mo in 8
volumes. Even the Bibliothèque Nationale apparently does not own a complete
copy.

Many thanks

                        Julien Comellas
