May we know why?

The mix of bibliographical, bookselling, conservation and book
collecting activity is the principal reason why I subscribe to Exlibris.

Requests for information by commercial parties have to be construed as
part of their commercial activity.  But 
without them, there seems no reason for the continued existence of
Exlibris.  It is precisely the cross-disciplinary mix of participants
that makes Exlibris unique and valuable.
