Hello to all:
I am writing on behalf of a researcher who is not a subscriber to Exlibris.
She is looking for the whereabouts of medieval and Renaissance manuscripts
that once belonged to Dr. Charles Humberd of Barnard, Missouri. Humberd's
library is described in De Ricci's Census (N.Y., 1937), vol.2, pages
1143-1176 and 2311. The particular item of interest is #18 on page 2311:
S. Isidorus, Encyclopedia ... 14th C.
Any information would be greatly appreciated. Please respond to me off-list.
Sincerely yours,
Kathryn L. Beam
