I, too, am reluctant to add to this thread but can't help thinking, how
odd that most of the irate messages (some of them outright rude!) are from
book dealers and book collectors. Although I am a book seller also, I
side with the moderator in this case. In the same way that "our" public
radio is being watered down by constant and irritating "little commercial
messages", so is this list, which I understood to be originally a forum
for professionals in the book arts to exchange ideas. And I have to
chuckle at our Dutch colleague who wrote this morning that she can't do
catalogs any longer "too busy with the internet".
