Vegetarian Cookbooks

Is anyone on this list aware of a bibliography of vegetarian cookbooks? (I
am aware of the bibliography on vegetarianism by Judith C.
Dyer,Vegetariamisn; An Annotated Bibliography London, 1975.)

Is there any library on the Net which has collection of vegetarian cookbooks
and what is the LC subject term used by that library? I am also interested
in any books on the history of vegetarianism in non English languages e.g,
Russian, Chinese, Japanese, Sanskrit, Spanish etc. A search of the
Australian National Bibliographic Database has shown some 1,500 items on
vegetarianism.

By the way the history of world cooking in my view shows that the majority
of food eaten throughout history has been vegetarian. Meat has usually been
eaten sparsely. The following nations are largely vegetarian today: China,
India, Japan, Brazil, Indonesia, Turkey and most poor nations in the
conventional sense (large parts of Africa). Most Buddhist countries did not
and do not eat meat and Hindus do not eat meat. People rarely eat meat in
much of Russia now and probably in Great Britain in much of the country due
to mad cow disease. The destruction of much of the world by introduced
cattle allied with the genocides of over 2000 native peoples (in the United
States, Canada, Australia, Brazil, Argentina) was unnecessary.

Thanks in anticipation for any information.
