I realized that I wasn't clear that the red column
doesn't refer to the *format*, but rather to the
number of leaves in the gathering. If you have a 12mo
in 6s or a folio in 8s, you would look to the 6's and
8's columns respectively.
And I trust that this has been more than most of you
ever wanted to know about it!
