We are looking into purchasing an enclosed lockable book truck. The
Library has a few of them; they were put together in-house quite a while
ago. They look like a small cabinet on wheels, with two lockable doors,
and a tray top, which facilitates safe transportation of items on top of
the truck or can serve as a work surface. There is one shelf inside the
cabinet which divides the truck into two storage areas. The trucks are
rather bulky and unwieldy.
We would like to know if anyone is aware of a commercial source for this
kind of book truck. The catalogs we checked did not list the kind of
truck we need. If you purchased a truck like this, and especially if you
have good experiences with the product, please share the supplier
information with us.
