For those of you who heard my 1998 RBMS pre-conference talk on dating
undated American Tract Society Publications through 1876 and asked when it
was going to be published (and for those of you who are interested
otherwise), here's where to get the information. It's being "published" on
the web by the American Antiquarian Society as a link from its on-line
collections' guide "Under Its Generous Dome."
To get to the tables, go to the AAS website www.americanantiquarian.org and
click on "Catalogs and Collections." On that screen click on the guidebook
link next to the handsome illustration of our dome (sort of looks like a
spider window or a wagon wheel] and then in the listings for collection
descriptions, click on "Tracts." The link to the ATS tables is at the end of
the short article on the collection. There will eventually be another link
to another series of tables for dating some other undated tract society
publications at the end of the same article.
