Rare Book School is pleased to announce that the schedule of its May/June 2002 courses is now available on our Web site at

The May/June lineup includes new courses taught by D. W. Krummel (American Music on Paper); Archie Provan (Introduction to the History of Typography); Simon Eliot (Printing, Publishing, and Consuming Texts in Britain and Its Empire, 1770 - 1919); and the return (after an absence of several years) of the Morris Cohen / David Warrington course, Collecting the History of Anglo-American Law.

The schedule of RBS courses offered in the first and second summer 2002 sessions (8-12 and 15-19 July; 29 July - 2 August and 5-9 August) will be up in the next couple of weeks; stay tuned. New summer session faculty members include John Buchtel, Mark Dimunation, Jan Storm van Leeuwen, and Barbara Shailor.

Nicholas Pickwoad's January 2002 course, European Bookbinding 1500-1900, is sold out; there are four places still available in Terry Belanger's January course, Book Illustration Processes to 1890.

Admit letters for the courses offered in the RBS March 2002 session will go out the second week in December.
