I am a literary researcher and for over 5 years now
have been trying to locate a collection of
letters-correspondence-between two British authors,
Violet Pearn and Algernon Blackwood. In the book
Algernon Blackwood, A Bio-Bibliography, by the well
known British editor Mike Ashley, Greenwood Press,
1987, he states-"Note: the file of correspondence
between Violet Pearn and Blackwood was sold several
years ago by Pearn's estate to an American college or
library but the details are lost and the papers cannot
be traced."
If anyone has any knowledge of the whereabouts of
this correspondence I would very much appreciate
hearing about it. I and Mike Ashley, have searched for
this collection for a very long time, and it does not
seem to be listed anywhere or on any of the searches
we have done. Any help in locating this would be
greatly appreciated.

If I have sent this message twice, sorry about that.
