Bibliography Week 2002
Preliminary Schedule

BIBLIOGRAPHY WEEK HAPPENS EACH YEAR at the end of January when the
principal national organizations devoted to book history have their annual
meetings. Other groups plan interesting events, too, since so many
bibliophiles are in town. With certain exceptions (noted below), you do not
need to be a member of the other organizations to attend their annual
meetings or events. Indeed, you are encouraged to show up everywhere: get a
sense of what is going on in the book world, hear some interesting papers,
schmooze over cocktails.

Tuesday, 22 Jan

At Butler Library, Columbia University: The Eighth Annual Book Arts
Lecture: David Scott Kastan on "Shakespeare & The Book." 6:00 pm, Room 203.
Reception to follow in the Rare Book & Manuscript Library, 6th Floor, East.
This lecture is given in conjunction with the eponymous exhibition, on
