-35 autograph manuscripts by John Hancock, including his letter to the
Massachusetts legislature calling for electors to be chosen to ratify the
new Constitution. Formerly housed at the National Museum of American
History
-Theodore Hittel's manuscript notes of his conversations with John Capen
"Grizzly" Adams, San Francisco, 1857-9, 647 legal folio ll., recto and
verso.
-The publisher's galley proof of Tolkien's Fellowship of the Ring, bearing
the first state 1953 publication date.
-Amos Nattini's elephant folio lithographs for Dante's Divina Commedia.
