Some of the internal memos, not intended for the public, are more
interesting
than the published ones. Whilst making notes in the Reading Room of the old
British Library /Museum in 1978, I used the backs of discarded A4's in a
rubbish tin.
I later found they concerned confidential advice on dealing with the "cat
problem" (live, not mummified) in the precincts, & discreet disposal of same.
