Paper

I would appreciate any advice. I was told that regular paper is ok because it is "buffered" and so we would not have to use archival (acid free) paper. Are the terms archival and acid free the same? If this paper is not acceptable what term(s) should I look for. I started questioning whether this was true because the Ph testing pen says that buffered papers can cause a false reading. Also, if regular paper is kept in a climate controlled setting how fast will it decay?

Thanks,
Mary Ann
