Re: translation of German word ISEPIPTESEN



Well, let a non-native speaker give it a try then. I met the term in an article on bird migration. Isopiptesen are lines on a map indicating (in this case) the areas where migrating birds arrived. I'm not a bird-watcher nor a geographer so I don't have a clue whether the term is specific for this kind of work or is more widely used in other fields.
