re: Online Exhibits

Yes, as Richard points out, the committee has had a commendation for electronic exhibitions as part of a three-year pilot project to judge electronic exhibitions. At the ALA MidWinter Meeting, the RBMS Executive Session approved the Exhibition Awards Committee motion to have electronic exhibitions become a permanent division of the Katharine Kyes Leab & Daniel J. Leab American Book Prices Current Exhibitions Awards-- division five-- beginning in 2004. We shall soon be mounting the web pages soliciting entries for 2004, which will include the electronic exhibition judging criteria established by the committee. These should be up early May.
