Re: Librarians Kick Big Brother's Butt

I recall - timorously (and fearful of Kathy Whalen's sharp eye) - the days long ago when without filling them in, we put the Postage Paid Cards into mailboxes to prevent their littering the sidewalk. Gambler though I am reputed to be, (and apart the evident sexism and touch of sadism in the image) I do not believe I could afford or would want to take George's bet about the images of "librarians in steel-toed stillettos" connected with "butts". It recalls too vividly the mentality of those in Mr. Nixon's administration who spoke of allowing people "to twist slowly in the wind".
