I go to the computer shows and print-on-demand shows
in NYC and I have seen nothing as good as a digital
camera for reproducing pages from rare and fragile
books. A 5 megapixel camera can take an image that can
easily be printed out 10 in x18 in with full clarity.
It is necessary to set up an indexing system for the
retrieval of images you take so that a page never has
to be photographed a second time.
