You are a Class Member if you opened a PayPal account
at any time between October 1, 1999 and January 31, 2004.
Most people will get US$50 or a little more, filing the "short form"
before October. If you were locked out of your accounts or they
were accessed without permission (read: you have a really big
beef with Paypal) submit the long form with your paperwork
and you will get a portion of the 2.5 million US$ in that bucket.
The official notification did look like the "phishing" scam e-mails,
and many people (like those on this list) will not respond at all,
so the settlement could go higher for each person.
Just an FYI. It is legitimate and those affected should consider this.
