Re: Walking Weidner--Radio broadcast

I believe I heard an inaccuracy in the story of the library as a monument to Harry Elkins Widener. The librarian claimed that, after the library was built, Mrs. Widener, for the rest of her life continued to buy books for Harry's collection. My understanding, from recollections of having read Wolf & Fleming's Rosenbach a number of times -- but not recently -- is that Mrs. Widener bought numerous books from, and/or thru, Dr. R., to be put into Harry's collection, as though they'd been his during his lifetime, but that immediately after the dedication she had nothing further to do with the library.

Am I right?

Dave
