[EXLIBRIS:30290] Libro degli Orti by Benedetto Curtio Sinforiano

I have a query from a researcher trying to track down a reference to a Libri
degli Orti by a Benedetto Curtio Sinforiano which is referred to in relation
to the portrayal of a plant on the whell of a chariot which is part of an
Italian fountain. The context is involved with identifying whether the plant is a
pine or some other conifer and involves a mythological reference to the
goddess(?) Piti. The work he is translating is a fifteenth or sixteenth century
Italian work. Can any of you identify the work in question and the standardized
name of the author? Any help would be much appreciated.
