[EXLIBRIS:30340] Re: Variant Issue, THE GLIMPSES OF THE MOON

Dear Colleagues,
A fellow bookseller has a variant of Edith Wharton's THE GLIMPSES OF THE
MOON unrecorded by Garrison, although possibly it may be the "Colonial Issue"
he found mention of but did not locate.
The binding is a deep red stamped in black, very similar to that of THE
AGE OF INNOCENCE, with the same style lettering; otherwise the book gibes with
the English issue Garrison describes (A31.I.b, pp. 250-251). The accompanying
dust jacket, unlike that of the American, lacks a price at the rear panel
(following "against temptation") and has unclipped flaps, again without a price.
Does any institution have such a copy? And how is it catalogued?
                    With thanks,
                            Sarah Baldwin
