On behalf of an enquirer I am trying to trace the whereabouts of a superius copy of Jean Servin's settings of George Buchanan's Latin paraphrases of the psalms, one of which was supposed to have been purchased by the late Henry Davis from Quaritch, but is no longer to be found in the Henry Davis Collection at the University of Ulster.
I'll be grateful for any information, except I don't want to hear that there was a fire in Henry Davis's flat, and that he had to make a split-second choice to save the psalms or a pet of any description!
