The National Archives and Records Administration has just published a nice,
illustrated, color brochure entitled "Does That Document Belong in the
National Archives?" It is a brief guide to determining if one should be
suspicious that a document in one's possession actually belongs to the
federal government.
Copies of it may be obtained by writing to Public Affairs, NARA, 700
Pennsylvania Ave., Washington, DC, 20408-0001, or by calling 202-357-5300.
I highly recommend it. They are distributed gratis.
