In "The path through the trees" Christopher Robin Milne (yes, *that*
Christopher Robin) talks about his experiences setting up the Harbour
Bookshop in Dartmouth.  That and his earlier "Enchanted places" are
interesting autobiography, though not centred on bookselling.

I holidayed in Dartmouth several times as a teenager, and must have been
into the bookshop several times without realising who was the owner -
probably the way he wanted it.  The bookshop is still there, but C.R.
Milne died in 1996.
