Thread-topic: RE: [EXLIBRIS] Best Memoirs of Book Collectors/Dealers?
In "The path through the trees" Christopher Robin Milne (yes, *that*
Christopher Robin) talks about his experiences setting up the Harbour
Bookshop in Dartmouth. That and his earlier "Enchanted places" are
interesting autobiography, though not centred on bookselling.
I holidayed in Dartmouth several times as a teenager, and must have been
into the bookshop several times without realising who was the owner -
probably the way he wanted it. The bookshop is still there, but C.R.
Milne died in 1996.
