Re: Best Memoirs of Book Collectors/Dealers?

Again, let me suggest the bibliography at the end of A Gentle Madness as a wonderful list of books on the topic under consideration -- all of which are fascinating, at least to me, though some are, obviously, more fascinating than others.

A few more that haven't been mentioned yet: (i) all the editions of Winterich's A Primer of Book Collecting, both solo, and with co-author Dave Randall, and, even fascinating-er, (ii) Storm & Peckham's's Introduction to Book Collecting...neither of them memoirs, but both filled with lotsa memoir-ish material.

PS Storm & Peckham is the very best introduction to book collecting.
