Fred's original message did appear when he posted it. Because of a glitch
when the list was set up, a lot of people do not receive copies of their own
postings, which causes them to think the postings didn't appear when they
actually did. The glitch has been fixed, and I change people's settings
when the problem comes to my attention. That was the case with Fred's
account. And remember you can always look in the archives to see if a
message is there; if it is, it got distributed.
If you want to be sure you see copies of your postings, send to:
listserv@mail.ecw.name
the command as the message body with subject line blank: set exlibris repro
And I again remind everyone that I don't vet messages before they are
posted. You write it, you send it, it shows up. It doesn't come through me
first. I've had to vet messages only once for a brief time.
Best,
Everett
