Re: Is there anything comparable to the BBTI for the Paris book trade?

Dear Robert

The following are worth a look:

Paris: Promodis, 1987.

Renouard, Philippe. Imprimeurs et libraires parisiens du XVIe siècle. Volume
I- . Paris, 1964- .

Renouard, Philippe.
Paris:
Minard, 1965.

All the best.

Subject: Is there anything comparable to the BBTI for the Paris book trade?

The British Book Trade Index is a wonderful resource. Is there anything at
all comparable, either on-line or printed, for the Paris book trade,
particularly the 17th and 18th centuries?

I am currently cataloging a private library in Brittany and would like to
learn more about Parisian printers and book sellers.

Thanks,

Robert Blythe
