Greetings SLIS community:

I got a call from one of the television producers of the show, "I vs. 100" broadcast on NBC4. They are interested in gathering a group of librarians for an upcoming show. Please read the information below for further details and give them a call if you are interested. This sounds like a great opportunity to introduce the new generation of librarians to the public! Have fun, good luck, and best wishes for a wonderful holiday!

"I am a casting producer for NBC TV and I would love to put together a fabulous, fun, energetic and beautiful group of Librarians for the new hit NBC Gameshow "I vs. 100" (created by the same producers of "Deal or No Deal"), hosted by Bob Saget and currently airing on Friday nights at 8pm on NBC to huge ratings. The show is literally that: 1 contestant against a mob of 100 in a triva quiz show format where the grand prize is $1,000,000. As the mob gets eliminated (or the 1 contestant) the pot is driven up. Within the 100 people we have featured specialty groups (i.e. Athletes, Celebrities, Fishermen, etc.). We would love to have a group of Librarians (who break the stereotype) to participate in the mob of 100 and potentially win some big money. The episode would shoot on or around January 8th in Los Angeles.

If interested, please email me with your contact information or give me a call at the number below.

Thanks so much for all your help!"
