If I understand what you want to do, it would seem blogspot.com would
be perfect for this, it is free, easily searchable and you can
restrict viewership (?) to whomever you wish, or release it to the
public at large.
If you just want to assign a url where they can be viewed,
photobucket.com would work as well.
I have used both in the past with no complaints.
