I am trying to identify a 19th(?) century exlibris which contains the
motto "In procellis impavidae" and no other text. Rather than trying to
clumsily describe the three mermaids and the chevroned shield below a
coronet I have posted an image (small and large) at

Doing a Google search on the motto gave no results.
Any information as to the owner of the exlibris will be appreciated. It is
in an early 18th century French book that was elegantly rebound c.1880
in an unsigned full leather tooled binding.
Happy Holidays to all.
