I really mean endangered in any sense, but in general I was thinking more in terms of endangered because of the conditions under which they have to be kept.

What do you mean with endangered? Endangered by what? If you mean endangered by dispersal then it is normal not to know which collection is endangered before the auction catalogs are published.
