According to my notes, when I worked on the ASSU collection of the Free
Library of Philadelphia, the ASSU was at this address from 1827 to 1853;
and The Child's Cabinet Library was listed in ASSU sales catalogues from
Jan. 1847 to at least 1870; it was not listed in 1893. The FLP did not
have sales catalogues for 1871-1892.

Subject: [EXLIBRIS-L] American Sunday-School Union address
When was the American Sunday-School Union located at 146 Chestnut St. in
Philadelphia? I'm cataloging an undated copy of _The history of John
Robins, the sailor_, which has "26" stamped on the spine. OCLC #78437306
is for a copy that is no. 26 in the "Child's cabinet library", with a
suggested date in the 1860s, but that copy bears a different address
(1122 Chestnut St.).
The entry for the firm in _American Literary Publishing Houses
1638-1899_ unfortunately gives no addresses.
