Subject: [EXLIBRIS-L] English watermarks
I am trying to identify and date a watermark that I
belive is English c.1780-1850 (but most likely
c.1820). What would be a good reference for me to
check? I have had no luck with the online version of
Piccard.
I do not yet have a picture of it. (It is a lion
rampant inside a circle under a Crown and contains no
words).
