Dear friends and colleagues, 

Our new catalogue for November 2007 is now online. It contains the
description of 105 items, among which:

- an extensively corrected copy of an important treatise of criminal law
written by a lawyer of the Emperor Charles V (Damhouder, 1564)
- the courageous defence of Galileo written in jail by Campanella (1622)
- the unpublished lessons of geography and hydrography given in Caen by the
Norman jesuit Yves-Marie André (1739)
- the first russian grammar in french (Charpentier, 1768)
- a very rare catechism in Malagasy language (Caulier, 1785)
- the first work written by Firmin Didot and printed with his own types
designed at the age of 23 (1787)
- the travel in Great-Britain, in Russia and in Sweden of an administrator
of the French navy (Lescallier, 1801)

... and many other interesting works published between 1564 and 1860.
