Redo: Zeutschel overhead scanner question

Hi all-

 

The question I just posted for a colleague, rephrased for clarity:

 

We were told that the Zeutschel OS10000TToverhead scanner will only work
with Omniscan.  Does anyone know of other software that will scan with
the Zeutschel OS10000TT overhead scanner?  For instance can Silverfast
be used as the scanning software to import images into Photoshop?

Photoshop is not a scanning software, it uses other software as a
plug-in.   

The Zeutschel outputs several formats which can be manipulated and
edited in Photoshop.
