Re: Ferdinand Roten Galleries



I dealt with Mr. Roten extensively from late 1959 through the mid-1960s and
knew him as pretty exclusively a dealer of original prints which is not to say
 that he had no mss. material but that was not my focus at the time. I also
never  knew him to have made photographic reproductions. His accounts at that
time  included the print room of the Boston Public Library,  the Fogg Art
Museum., and Goldfarb Library of Brandeis University.
