Christening dress

Hi Elizabeth,

I am mounting the dress on a small pillow form to give some shape to
the bodice.  I will use a shaped piece of foam core, suspended from the
pillow to spread out the skirt.

I was given this suggestion for attaching the dress and mount to the
frame.  The section of the pillow exposed at the neckline will be
covered with the same fabric lining the shadow box.  The top of the
pillow will be sewn to the back board and give the impression that the
dress is "floating" in the case.  I've allowed for 2" between the dress
and the frame.
