Time has long captured the imagination of artists, writers, scientists, philosophers, and theologians. Guild of Book Workers members are invited to interpret "marking time" as broadly or narrowly as they wish. Possibilities might include but are not limited to: a specific incident in or period of history, the future, science fiction, time as a scientific or spiritual concept, the measurement of time, current events or the role of time in one's own life. Intent to Enter Form: PLEASE NOTE: Only those filing an Intent to Enter form may submit work for jurying. Fill out Intent to Enter FormEntry Details: There is a $2000 limit on insurance value for work included in Marking Time. There is also a size limit on the work. Books may not be larger than 22 inches square and 12 inches deep, including protective enclosure. Flat or 2-D work may not be larger than 24 inches square, including frame and protective enclosure. Submitted works must have been created since 2006 and may not have been previously shown in a Guild exhibition (Chapter exhibitions excepted). All entrants must be members in good standing of the Guild of Book Workers at the time of submission and for the entire run of the exhibition. Exhibition Sites: Questions?
